FTP Accounts in Hosting
Our hosting plans will allow you to set up multiple FTP accounts with just several clicks via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel and to define what web files and folders each one can access. There isn’t any upper limit on the maximum number of FTP accounts that you are allowed to create, so you’ll be able to have as many as you wish at any particular moment. If you don’t want to use a particular FTP account any longer or in case a designer has fulfilled their task and you don’t want them to access your website content any longer, you can simply remove that account. The Control Panel’s FTP section will allow you to view all currently existing accounts listed alphabetically, along with different options, which you can access with one single click. You’ll be able to modify the password and the access path, to download an auto-configuration file, etcetera. We also have detailed help articles, which can help you manage your FTP accounts if you run into any difficulty.
FTP Accounts in Semi-dedicated Hosting
When you host your websites under a semi-dedicated server account, you’ll be able to create a different FTP account for any of them, since we haven’t set a limit on this service with any of our semi-dedicated server plans. You can accomplish this through the FTP section of our easy-to-use Hepsia hosting Control Panel where you can also see the full list of all the accounts that you have set up, along with the folder that each one of them can connect to. If needed, you will be able to change the password for a particular account or to modify its access path with a couple of clicks of the mouse. You can also delete an account without effort if you do not need it anymore – for instance, if you have hired a web developer who’s done with the Internet site and you do not want them to connect to your web files any longer. For your convenience, we’ve prepared different educational video clips, which will help you manage your FTP accounts without any effort if you have never used a hosting plan previously.
